April Eco Challenge: Get Gardening!

Garden this April to help the environment

With Spring in full swing it’s time to get out into your gardens and get planting!

Whether you’re going to grow some sun-flowers or start a vegetable patch, we’re challenging you to plant something this month!

We love the idea of starting a vegetable patch. Not only will you be growing plants in your garden, you’ll be able to eat them and buy less from the supermarket! April is a great month for planting: beans, beetroot, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, leeks, onions, parsnips, potatoes and shallots, just to name a few!

If you don’t have enough space or no garden at all, get some house plants and herbs to care for.

Let us know how you get on via our Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, we’d love to hear from you!
